Brandon Copp

Brandon Copp is an Aerospace Design Engineer at Hedron since May 2021, where significant contributions include the development of key optical communications technology for data relay satellites. Previous experience includes serving as Systems Engineer II at NovaWurks, Inc., collaborating on the design and launch of the first cellular-based satellites, and as Engineering Project Manager at Black Sun Planetary Solutions, Inc., leading the development of a patented solar collector. Brandon has also worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Sierra Nevada Corporation and as a Systems Engineering Intern at MicroSat Systems Inc. Educationally, Brandon holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, respectively.
