Trevor Sprague

Trevor Sprague has a diverse work experience. Trevor started their career as an Advanced Technologies Laboratory Assistant at Cuyahoga Community College in 2013, where they introduced and taught a course on robotics engineering and introductory C++ programming. In 2014, they became a VCIC Fellow at VCIC (Venture Capital Investment Competition) and later joined Heelstone Renewable Energy, LLC in 2015 as a Finance Manager. At Heelstone, Trevor went on to become the Chief Development Officer, leading the development team responsible for the company's solar and battery storage development pipeline. Trevor is in charge of all pre-NTP activities, including site selection, interconnection, entitlement, diligence studies, and power marketing. Heelstone maintains a pipeline of over 6 GW, consisting of self-developed and acquired assets. Trevor also has experience in education, as a Corps Member at Teach for America from 2012 to 2014, where they taught chemistry and physical science and introduced new science electives. Overall, Trevor brings a diverse skillset and extensive knowledge in finance, renewable energy development, and education.

Trevor Sprague completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Energy from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Georgia between 2010 and 2012. Trevor also attended The College of Charleston from 2007 to 2010. No degree or field of study was specified for their time at The College of Charleston.
