Robert Barnett

Robert Barnett has a diverse work experience in accounting and administration roles. Robert started their career as an Assistent Accountant at Stolp Accountants in 2001. Robert then moved on to work at Norfolkline as a Booking Coordinator Customer Service and later as an Accounts Receivable & Claims Administrator. In 2007, they joined Heerema Marine Contractors as a Senior Administrator, where they administered accounts for domestic and foreign entities. Robert then served as a Project Controller, overseeing financial reports and managing contractual risks. In their subsequent role as Lead Accounting Angola, they managed daily routines and assisted administrators with administrative activities. Robert is currently working at Heerema Marine Contractors as the Lead Accounting and Compliance, where they structure activities within the Accounting and Compliance department and ensures accurate trial balances and timely compliance rounds.

Robert Barnett has a Master's degree in Accounting and Control from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) obtained from 2018 to 2021. Robert also holds a Bachelor's degree in HEAO - Business Economics from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences achieved from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Modern Business Administration studies at NIFA from 2001 to 2004. Robert also holds a MEAO level 4 degree in Business Administration from R.O.C., which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. Finally, they completed their MAVO level 4 education at Vlietland College from 1993 to 1997.
