Jean-Paul COSAL

Jean-Paul COSAL has worked in the software engineering industry for over 20 years. Jean-Paul began their career in 2001 as an Internship Trainee at Technische Universität Wien. In 2002, they worked as an Internship Trainee at Thales, where they designed and developed in Java and integrated and validated tools using the middleware. In 2003, they worked as a Software Engineer at Astrium, where they designed and developed new functionalities in Ada and designed communication on proprietary bus. Jean-Paul was also a leader of a development team of 3 people. In 2004, they worked as a Software Engineer (Development, Integration and Validation) at Cassidian Systems, where they designed and developed a GUI for the system using Java, SWT and LuciadMap, and designed and developed tools for IVV team using C++, Java, Python and Qt. In 2014, they worked as a Senior Golang Backend Developer at Airbus Defence and Space - Intelligence, where they designed and developed core image processing algorithms in C++ and designed and developed micro services in Go. In 2020, they worked as a Senior Golang Backend Developer at MEDIAKEYS PLATFORM, where they designed and developed bidder features using Golang, and did business data report and analysis using ELK (Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana) and system monitoring using Prometheus/Grafana. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Heetch.

Jean-Paul COSAL completed their Master's degree in Génie Informatique from Centrale Lille between 1999 and 2002.
