Brett Nixon

Brett Nixon is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate controlling and taxation. Currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Controlling & Tax at Heidelberg Materials North America since January 2017, Brett has previously held roles such as Corporate Controller and Tax Director within the same company. Prior experience includes serving as a Business Tax Services Manager at Deloitte and as a Federal Tax Manager at PwC, with a strong focus on federal, state, and international tax issues, as well as expertise in Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740) and SOX 404 Income Tax Controls. Brett began the career as a Tax Associate at McGladrey, providing tax compliance for financial institutions. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Accountancy with an emphasis in Taxation and a B.B.A. in Accounting from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
