Liam Dewhurst

Liam Dewhurst is an experienced professional in the engineering sector, currently serving as Project and Engineering Manager at Heidelberg Materials UK since January 2018, where responsibilities include major CapEx project delivery for cement, aggregates, and asphalt. Previously held the role of Head of Maintenance Control Centre at Ribblesdale Cement Plant and participated in a Continuous Improvement Programme as a Mechanical Engineer across West and Southern Europe, Africa, and the East Mediterranean. Prior to this, Liam worked at Harrisons Engineering (Lancashire) Ltd. as a Project Engineer and Welder Fabricator. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) with Honours in Mechanical Engineering and a Higher National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lancashire, along with NVQ Level 3 in Welding Fabrication structural steel and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering from Burnley College.
