Jan Theulen

Jan Theulen possesses extensive expertise in sustainability and resource management within the cement industry. Since July 2009, Jan has held various leadership roles at HeidelbergCement, currently serving as Head Technologies & Partnerships and Group Lead CCUS, overseeing global Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage initiatives. Previous positions include Group Director of Alternative Resources, where Jan shaped strategies for alternative fuels, renewable energy, and CO2 utilization. Earlier in their career, Jan worked as Global Environmental Sustainability Director and Global Manager of Waste Co-processing at DSM. Jan's educational background includes a degree from Eindhoven University of Technology, complemented by experience as a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Finite Element Method (FEM).
