Sebastian Quevedo is a New Technology / Process Engineer at Heidelberg Materials since October 2025. Previously, Sebastian completed a PhD at Politecnico di Milano from September 2021 to October 2025, focusing on the decarbonization of cement production through electrification and carbon capture. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Fellow on decarbonization systems, an Intern Carbon Analyst at zero-carbon 2030, and key positions in organizations such as Delft Sustainable Energy Association, Orica, and Pares y Alvarez. Sebastian holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Technology from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Concepción.
