Tobias Hartmann

Tobias Hartmann is an experienced professional in ESG reporting and corporate social responsibility, currently serving as the Head of ESG Reporting & Ratings at Heidelberg Materials since September 2017. In this role, Tobias focuses on integrated reporting, enhancing transparency across ESG performance, and improving ESG ratings. Previously, as a Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility, work involved coordination of CSR activities and internal ESG ratings. Tobias also held positions at KPMG in Deutschland as a Corporate Social Responsibility Manager and Assistant Manager, where responsibilities included sustainability assurance and corporate climate reporting. Earlier experience includes managing projects at Global Nature Fund, interning at EcoPeace Middle East, assisting at the University of Heidelberg, and working with the German Emissions Trading Authority. Tobias holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Mannheim.
