Ginger Heidel

Ginger Heidel is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in public relations and media. Currently serving as the Public Information Officer for the Coastal Health District since March 2019, Ginger previously held the role of Director of Public Relations at the same organization from 2005 to 2008. In addition, Ginger is a co-owner of Heideldesign, a website development company where responsibilities encompass managing client relationships and developing content. Earlier career highlights include serving as an Education Reporter for WSAV-TV and Channel 4 News, where skills in story generation, reporting, and on-camera presentation were developed. Ginger holds a BA in Journalism and Spanish from The University of Georgia.
