Shadi El Farr

Shadi El Farr is an experienced professional in the financial services sector, currently serving as the Regional Managing Partner for the Financial Services Practice at Heidrick & Struggles since December 2006, overseeing operations across Asia Pacific and MENA. In this role, Shadi leads initiatives focused on Financial Services and Private Equity. Previously, Shadi held the position of Partner at Heidrick & Struggles, specializing in financial services and CEO/Board search and assessment. Prior experience includes a Senior Researcher role at Amrop, focusing on leadership search for family groups in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and serving as an Associate Management Consultant at TEAM International, where organizational design for government entities in MENA was a primary focus. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Business Administration from Lebanese American University and a BBA from the American University of Beirut, complemented by a Baccalaureate in Literature from Saint Mary’s Orthodox College.
