Carrie Bloss

Carrie Bloss is an experienced executive leader in the nonprofit sector with a strong focus on services for vulnerable populations, particularly older adults and those experiencing homelessness. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Heights and Hills since April 2021, Carrie promotes successful aging through strategic partnerships and organizational vision development. Previously, as Executive Director at Project Hospitality, responsibilities included overseeing extensive service contracts and managing a large workforce. Carrie's tenure at Breaking Ground involved significant roles from Vice President to Director, where initiatives included the creation of a Quality Assurance Department and management of compliance for thousands of supportive housing units. Experience also encompasses key positions at the City of New York's Department of Homeless Services, and earlier roles in legal and research settings. Carrie holds a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in Political Science from Carleton College.
