Desmond Rice

Desmond Rice is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as the Director of Global Employee and Executive Communications at Visa since September 2023. With extensive experience in both corporate and public sectors, Rice previously held key roles including Head of Communications & PR for M12 at Microsoft, where responsibilities spanned employee communications, media relations, and culture strategy. Additional experience encompasses leading communications for Microsoft Bay Area, managing communications strategies at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, and overseeing marketing communications at Northrop Grumman and Deloitte, among other organizations. Desmond Rice holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master's in Journalism and an MBA in Marketing from the University of North Texas.
