Currently serving as the Founder of TRXTalks, Roel provides lectures, workshops, and consultancy services focused on AI for medium to large companies, healthcare institutions, and government agencies. Previously held significant roles at Philips, including Senior Director of Healthcare Informatics, where Roel led a team of 75 across multiple countries and drove innovations in digital AI ecosystems for healthcare. Roel's career at Philips also included roles such as Department Head for Professional Health Solutions and Services, and Cardiology Solutions Innovation lead, contributing to various high-profile projects and departments. Roel's educational background includes a Master of Science in image processing from Télécom Paris and a Master of Science in Electrotechnical engineering from KU Leuven.
