Jan Struik, van der

Jan Struik, van der has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Jan has held various leadership positions in well-known companies.

Jan started their career at ING Group as a Sales Director from December 2006 to June 2010. Jan then joined Nationale-Nederlanden, where they served as the Head of Distribution for ING NL & BE, responsible for the disentanglement of ING in the Netherlands and negotiating distribution agreements between ING and NN. Jan also served as the Director of P&C Retail, overseeing operations, marketing, distribution, product management, sourcing, IT, chain management, and risk management at Nationale-Nederlanden.

After leaving Nationale-Nederlanden, Jan joined CCS as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) from April 2015 to February 2017, where they were responsible for commerce and building an international sales organization.

Jan then joined Intrasurance Group as the Managing Director from February 2017 to April 2018. Jan led the team in developing the DIV platform for the national and international insurance market, focusing on business technology, data-driven decision-making, and consumer-driven processes.

Subsequently, they joined Van Ameyde Group as the Director at Van Ameyde Systems from May 2020 to November 2020.

Currently, Jan is working as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Heinenoord Assuradeuren. As a member of the management board, they are responsible for various areas, including volmacht, beurs, IT, operations (schade and polis), and integration.

Jan Struik, van der's education history includes attending INSEAD where they completed the International Executive Programme in 2009. This program took place in Fontainebleau, Abu Dhabi, and Singapore. Prior to that, Jan studied Management and Economics at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) from 1992 to 1994.
