Dr. Frank Sittinger, PhD has extensive experience in various roles related to purchasing, supply chain management, and operations. Dr. Frank is currently serving as the Global Head of Purchasing at HEINZ-GLAS Group since June 2020. Previously, they held positions such as Director Global Supply Chain at Maag Automatik / Dover from July 2015 to September 2019, and Head of Supply Chain at Dover - Maag / Automatik Plastics Machinery from January 2013 to June 2015. Prior to that, they were the Head of Operations / Global Sourcing for EMEA and APAC at Avaya from January 2009 to September 2012. Dr. Frank Sittinger also has experience as the Head of Strategic Purchasing EMEA at Avaya from 2004 to 2008, and as the Head of Business Excellence, Program- & Quality Management at Tenovis from January 2002 to September 2004. Furthermore, their work experience includes roles such as Director for Operations, Project Management, Supply Chain, Network Services EMEA at Metromedia Fiber Networks from 2000 to 2001, and Senior Manager Project Management, Purchasing, Operations at Global Telesystems from July 1999 to June 2000. Dr. Frank Sittinger started their career as a Project Manager at Plusnet from January 1996 to December 1997.
Dr. Frank Sittinger, PhD, obtained their doctoral degree in Physics from Goethe University Frankfurt in 1995. In the same year, they also obtained a degree in Management and Project Management from Prodidact Wuerzburg.
