Alex Alvarado

Alex Alvarado is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in hospitality and sports journalism. Currently a bartender at Heirloom Hospitality since February 2023, Alex previously held roles including writer at The Ypsilanti Eleven and lead trainer and bartender at Beau's Grillery, where exceptional customer service and drink mixing were key responsibilities. With a background as team lead and bartender at BRAVO Cucina Italiana, Alex managed financial tasks and employee health checks during the Covid-19 pandemic. In the realm of journalism, Alex served as sports editor for KPC Media Group Inc. and managed editor and editor-in-chief for SB Nation's Hustlebelt.com, overseeing operations and a team of writers.
