Julian Vergel de Dios

Julian Vergel de Dios has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Julian is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of Heirloom, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to that, Julian worked at PocketList from 2019 to 2021, where they co-founded the company and served as the CTO. At PocketList, they were responsible for recruiting and managing the engineering team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products, and coordinating technology needs across multiple disciplines.

Before PocketList, Julian co-founded and served as the CTO of Block HQ Inc. from 2017 to 2019. Julian also worked as a Software Development Manager at Gem from 2014 to 2017, where they recruited and managed an engineering team and contributed to major projects. Julian's early career includes roles as a Software Engineer at Pose from 2011 to 2014, a Mobile Engineer at CitySourced from 2010 to 2011, and an Intern at Heavy Iron Studios in 2008. Julian also gained experience in sales as a Server at Chili's in 2009 and a Sales Associate at Toyota Santa Monica from 2006 to 2007. Julian began their professional journey as a Business Machines Sales Associate at Staples in 2005.

Julian Vergel de Dios completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, from 2007 to 2010.
