Lex Schutzengel

Lex Schutzengel is an experienced education professional with a strong background in teaching physics and engineering across various grade levels. Currently serving as a Maintenance Technician at Heirloom since November 2022, Lex previously held the position of Professional Development Specialist at The Tech Interactive, where responsibilities included planning and delivering training for K-12 educators and coordinating recruitment efforts. Lex's teaching career began as a Physics Teacher at Castro Valley High School and included roles at Del Mar High School, Columbia Middle School, and Fremont Union High School District, focusing on project-based learning and differentiated instruction.
