Karimah Nonyameko is an accomplished program officer at the Heising-Simons Foundation since October 2021, contributing to sustainable solutions in climate, clean energy, education, and human rights. Previously, Nonyameko served as regional program manager at the National Alliance for Mental Illness South Carolina from March 2020 to August 2021 and as leadership and mobilization manager at Encore.org from September 2017 to February 2020, focusing on community improvement through the engagement of midlife individuals. Additional experience includes working as a subject matter expert in community revitalization at Habitat for Humanity International from December 2013 to August 2017 and co-founding ChangeWork Consulting, an organization dedicated to anti-racist community development from April 1999 to October 2013.
