Anca Ciurte

Anca Ciurte began their work experience as an Intern at Inria in 2006. Anca then worked as a PhD Intern at the Signal Processing Laboratory - LTS5, EPFL in 2010. In 2018, they joined Cognizant Softvision as an AI Community Lead until 2020. In the same year, they became the Head of AI at HEITS.digital. Simultaneously, they worked at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca as a Lecturer and Researcher from 2008 until 2022.

Anca Ciurte began their education journey in 2003 at Babeș-Bolyai University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Informatics. Anca successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2007. In 2006, they had the opportunity to study abroad as an ERASMUS exchange student at Université Grenoble Alpes.

Building upon their bachelor's education, Anca enrolled at the Technical University of Cluj Napoca in 2007 to pursue a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. Anca completed their studies in 2009.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Anca proceeded to the Technical University of Cluj Napoca for their Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2008. Anca dedicated herself to their doctoral studies and successfully concluded their research and academic requirements in 2011.

Anca Ciurte's educational history reflects their progression from a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Informatics to a master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision, culminating in a Ph.D. in Computer Science.
