Andreas Quensel has a diverse work experience in various industries including media, marketing, and consumer insights. Andreas started their career as a Coding Specialist at The Nielsen Company in 2004, where they categorized products and improved price statistics. Andreas then transitioned to a Sales Support Executive role, creating global FMCG reports and managing a client portfolio. In 2007, they became a Client Executive, managing Nielsen's largest client in Sweden and leading advanced studies.
Moving on, Quensel joined Electronic Arts in 2008, initially as a Category Insights Manager for EA Nordics, responsible for consumer research, market analysis, and sales forecasting. Later, they became the Consumer Insight Manager for Asia, focusing on improving strategies and marketing activities in Australia, Japan, and other regions.
In 2013, Quensel joined Expressen as the Head of Analytics, leading a team of analysts to make the publication data-driven. Andreas later became the Head of Analytics and Digital Marketing, overseeing the transition from print to digital media and developing data-driven strategies for the editorial and IT teams.
After their time at Expressen, Quensel joined Bonnier News in 2016 as the CMO of Bonnier News Lifestyle, where they created a new digital marketing team and led product development. Andreas also held the role of the Senior Growth Manager, driving revenue growth and helping NOA Gallery increase their revenue significantly. In 2018, they became the Head of the health app Wellie.
Quensel's most recent role is as the Head of Growth at Heja, which they assumed in 2019.
Andreas Quensel began their education in 1994 at Tyresö Gymnasium, where they completed the Science program and earned their Upper secondary school diploma in 1998. In 1999, they attended the University of Vienna for a brief period of 10 weeks to study German Language and Literature. Andreas then pursued further education at Uppsala University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained an International Master of Science degree in Business and Economics with a major in Marketing and German.
