Bernhard W. Kerschbaum serves as the Head of International Division at HEKS - Hilfswerk der Evangelischen Kirchen Schweiz since April 2013, overseeing global development, humanitarian aid, and church cooperation programs with an annual budget exceeding USD 40 million. Previously, Bernhard held the role of Head of the Europe/Asia Department, managing operations in 16 countries with a budget of over USD 10 million. Prior experience includes serving as Country Director for Sri Lanka and Afghanistan at ZOA Refugee Care, and as an Investment Manager at DEG, where responsibilities included implementing the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) Program across multiple regions. Additional roles include Donor Relations Coordinator at SERVE Afghanistan and Banker at Dresdner Bank AG. Bernhard W. Kerschbaum is an alumnus of the University of Hohenheim.
