Chethana Disanayake

Chethana Disanayake is an experienced compliance professional currently serving as an Executive- Compliance at Hela Apparel Holdings since November 2024. Previously, Chethana worked at Autogroup International as a Senior Executive focused on Environmental Health and Safety, as well as Quality Assurance, from September 2023 to November 2024. Prior roles include an Executive in Health & Safety at Ocean Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, with responsibilities in legal and compliance audits and health and safety audits from August 2022 to August 2023, and a Management Trainee in Health & Safety at Ansell from August 2021 to August 2022. Early career experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at a global health research unit and an internship trainee role. Chethana holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology from the University of Kelaniya and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Occupational Safety and Health Management at the University of Moratuwa, along with qualifications from NEBOSH and SGS Lanka.
