Dominic Krist

Dominic Krist is a seasoned legal and compliance executive with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as General Counsel, Chief Compliance & HR Officer, and a Member of the Board of Directors at Landesbank Hessen-Thuringen (Helaba) since October 2016, Dominic oversees strategy, operations, and a team of over 20 staff members across finance, HR, legal, compliance, and IT. Prior to this role, Dominic held significant positions at Amundi from May 2007 to September 2016, including Head of International Legal Affairs, where oversight of international mandates exceeding €50 billion was a key responsibility, and Head of Legal & Compliance, which involved establishing a comprehensive legal department. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of European Law & Supervision at BVI German Investment Funds Association and practicing corporate law and M&A at Heyer & Krist, Rechtsanwälte. Dominic holds a Master's Degree in Public International and European Law from the University of Cambridge and a State Exam in Law from Goethe University Frankfurt.
