Gordon Schenk currently serves as a Board Member at Helen Woodward Animal Center since May 2024. Prior to this, Gordon was the Chief Executive Officer of Maxwell Technologies from February 2018 to May 2024, overseeing the development of Ultracapacitor solutions for the Renewables Segment and the re-acquisition of key assets from Tesla. Gordon also held leadership roles at PTC as Global Strategic Sales Director for Vuforia AR, and at Sentab as Senior Vice President of Global Business Development and Sales. Additional experience includes serving as Vice President at Comhear, Managing Director at SRS Labs, and various sales and business development roles at Entropic Communications, Spreadtrum Communications, and Mobilian Corporation. Gordon earned a Master's degree in New Venture Management from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and a BSEE in RF and Microwave Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Helen Woodward Animal Center is a unique, private, non-profit organization in San Diego County that, for over 50 years, has been committed to the philosophy of people helping animals and animals helping people. Located on 12 acres in Rancho Santa Fe, our nationally recognized Center provides a variety of services that benefit the community through educational and therapeutic programs for people, and humane care and adoption for animals. We are a no-kill facility that receives no government funding and relies heavily on tax-deductible contributions from private donors to continue our life-saving mission.
