Erik Velkme has a background in microbiology, with experience in research and development of microbial-based products for agriculture. Erik has held various roles including Laboratory Supervisor at Heliae Development, LLC, Graduate Research Assistant at Southern Illinois University, and Research Assistant at Michigan State University. Erik's expertise lies in gene expression, DNA extraction, PCR, and microbial community profiling. With a Master's degree in Microbiology from SIU and a BS degree in Biological Sciences from MSU, Erik is well-equipped for their current role as Director of Product Development & Regulatory Affairs at Heliae Development, LLC.
