Awa Sun Yin

Awa Sun Yin serves as the Director at Heliax since February 2021, leading the team developing the Anoma Network with a focus on self-sovereign and privacy-preserving technologies. As President of the Anoma Foundation, Awa Sun Yin ensures the long-term sustainability of the Anoma ecosystem through guidance, financial support, and collaborations. Previously, Awa Sun Yin co-founded Cryptium Labs and Metastate, contributing to secure digital attestations for blockchains and advancing research in scalability and privacy, respectively. Awa Sun Yin has also held positions at Tendermint and the Ethereum Community Fund, along with experience as a Data Scientist at Chainalysis Inc. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in IT Management from Copenhagen Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Esade, alongside an exchange program at HEC Montréal.
