Gilberto Batres-Estrada is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in data science and artificial intelligence, currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Helicon Technologies AB since September 2019. Gilberto has a strong educational background in applied mathematics and statistics, holding multiple Master of Science degrees from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm University. In addition to consulting roles, Gilberto contributes to academia as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at AIFI, focusing on programming sessions in machine learning and deep learning with applications in finance. Previous positions include work at Webstep and Asa Bay Capital Management, where Gilberto applied predictive modeling and developed trading algorithms.
