Craig Rudick has a diverse and extensive work experience. Craig currently serves as the Director of Product Strategy and Data Scientist at HelioCampus since July 2019. Prior to that, they held various positions at the University of Kentucky from 2013 to 2019, including Executive Director of Institutional Research & Lead Data Scientist, Director of Institutional Research (interim), Associate Director for Institutional Research & Data Science Service Owner, Data Scientist II, and Data Scientist I. In these roles, they focused on data analytics, predictive modeling, and promoting data-informed decision making to improve student success and university operations. Craig also worked as a Tableau consultant at the University of Kentucky, Institute for Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy in 2014, where they built Tableau dashboards for the Kentucky Department for Mental Health and Mental Retardation Services. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at ETH Zurich from 2010 to 2013 and a Graduate Research Assistant at Case Western Reserve University from 2005 to 2010, where they completed their PhD thesis on the Formation and Evolution of Intracluster Light. Craig began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh in 2003.

Craig Rudick completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pittsburgh from 2000 to 2004. Craig then pursued further education and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Astronomy from Case Western Reserve University, where they studied from 2004 to 2010.
