Saurabh Tonapi

Saurabh Tonapi, P.E. is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in process and instrumentation engineering, particularly in the industrial water and wastewater sector. Currently serving as the Director of Process and Instrumentation Engineering at Heliogen since June 2023, Saurabh has previously held key positions including Project Manager and Associate Vice President at Carollo Engineers, as well as Project Manager for Industrial Water/Wastewater at HDR. Prior roles at Bechtel included Senior Engineer in Water Engineering, where contributions involved the design and startup of water and wastewater systems for petrochemical facilities and LNG projects in the US and Australia. Saurabh's education includes a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
