Leila Shepherd

Leila Shepherd is currently the Managing Director at Helix Centre, overseeing a team focused on human-centred approaches to health and care challenges. Leila also serves as a Board Trustee at Free To Be Kids, supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Leila previously held roles as Director of Strategy at NHS Digital, Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, and Chief Technology Officer at DNA Electronics. With a background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, including a PhD from Imperial College London, Leila has a strong foundation in technology and innovation.
