Cameron Babek

Cameron Babek has extensive maritime experience, currently serving as Chief Mate at Helix Energy Solutions Group since January 2015, with prior roles as 2nd Mate/Sr. DPO and 3rd Mate/DPO. Before this, Cameron worked at Edison Chouest Offshore from May 2012 to December 2014 as 2nd Mate AGT/1600 GRT Master. Cameron's career began with a cadet position at Military Sealift Command in June 2010 on the USNS Leroy Grumman. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Marine Transportation from Texas A&M University at Galveston, obtained in 2012.
