Joshua Hopson

Joshua Hopson is an experienced maintenance and subsea engineering professional with a comprehensive background in managing teams and operations in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Maintenance Team Lead at Helix Energy Solutions Group since August 2019, Joshua oversees maintenance operations on a light workover vessel and manages a crew of over 20 personnel while ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining detailed records in SAP. Prior roles include Subsea Engineer at both Helix Energy Solutions Group and SSE International, where Joshua provided support for well operations and EOW maintenance. Joshua has also held senior engineering positions at Paragon Offshore and Noble Drilling, emphasizing project management, budget oversight, and team leadership. Early career experience includes work as a hydraulic technician at Hydril and as a hydraulic specialist in the United States Air Force. Joshua is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering Technology at Liberty University, expected to graduate in 2024.
