Ken Neikirk

Ken Neikirk is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Helix Energy Solutions Group since April 2007. In this role, Ken is responsible for managing all legal matters for a publicly traded company, overseeing corporate governance, and advising the Board of Directors and senior management on strategic and operational issues. Ken has progressed through various legal positions at Helix, including Senior Vice President and Corporate Counsel, where responsibilities included contract negotiation, acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance oversight. Prior to Helix, Ken practiced as an Associate Attorney at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and corporate advising within the energy and finance sectors. Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Duke University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center.
