Susan Spence

Susan Spence is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the legal field. Since May 2017, Susan has served as General Counsel at Triovest. Prior to this, from October 2010 to May 2017, Susan held the position of Senior Counsel at GE Canada, where responsibilities included oversight of legal matters for GGO Canada. Earlier in Susan's career, Senior Legal Counsel roles were held at First National Financial LP from 2005 to 2010, and a noteworthy tenure as Partner at McCarthy Tetrault LLP from January 1998 to June 2005. Susan began the legal career as an Articling Student at Smith Lyons between 1996 and 1997. Educational qualifications include earning an LL.B. from the University of Windsor (1993-1996) and a BA in Canadian Studies and Environmental Studies from McGill University (1989-1993).
