Steven Smith

Steven Smith, PMP, has extensive experience in electrical supervision and maintenance management across various companies in the energy and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as an Electrical Supervisor at Helix Energy Solutions Group since September 2019, Steven previously held roles such as Maintenance Manager at International Paper and TSL at Seadrill, where responsibilities included planning maintenance schedules, managing budgets, and supervising repair activities. Prior experience as RMS and Division Maintenance Superintendent at Noble Drilling involved overseeing rig operations and equipment maintenance. Early career positions included roles as Barge Engineer, Electrician, and a Contract Electrician, alongside military service as a Missile Maintenance Technician in the U.S. Air Force. Steven holds a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of the Cumberlands.
