Shelby Bocks

Shelby Bocks is an experienced environmental planner currently working at HELIX Environmental Planning, Inc. since January 2022. Prior to this role, Shelby served as an Environmental Planning Intern at the City of San Diego from March 2021 to December 2021. Shelby also held leadership positions, including Chair of Student Fellows at the USD Changemaker HUB and was a Community Programs Intern at I Love A Clean San Diego. Additional experience includes work as a Project & Research Assistant at The Root Solutions and as a Social Change Corps Fellow at the USD Changemaker HUB. Shelby earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of San Diego and participated in a study abroad program focused on Tropical Island Biodiversity Studies in Panama through The School for Field Studies in 2019.
