Tony Best

Tony Best has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Tony currently serves as a Non Executive Director at Helix Geospace, Sunstone Systems, and GPP Group, starting in 2021. In 2020, they founded and became the Managing Director of Millfield Medical Electronics ltd. Prior to this, they held positions as a Board Member at VIA optronics in 2019 and as a NED at HSSMI in 2016. Tony also worked as an Alternate Director at Surface Technology International from 2010. From 2014 to 2020, they were the Chairman of SME Capital UK. Tony began their career at JP Morgan in 1985, where they served as a Managing Director until 2010. Prior to that, they worked as an Equity analyst and Institutional Sales at Simon & Coates - stockbrokers from 1982 to 1985.

Tony Best attended Berkhamsted School from 1969 to 1978, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Following this, they attended St. Edmund Hall, Oxford from 1979 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE).
