Magnus Isaksson

Magnus Isaksson is a highly experienced professional in the fields of bioinformatics and data science, currently serving as Senior Director of Data Science and AI at Helix since August 2017, where leadership focuses on AI-driven population health initiatives. Previously held multiple positions at Helix, including Senior Director and Principal Bioinformatics Engineer, contributing to the development of next-generation sequencing analysis pipelines and research platforms. Prior to Helix, Magnus led the genomics bioinformatics R&D team at Agilent Technologies and founded Halo Genomics, providing innovative solutions in DNA sequencing. Magnus holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine with a focus on bioinformatics from Uppsala University, where research centered on genetic variation using Selector technology.
