Michelle An

Michelle An is a skilled bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in bioinformatics engineering, research, and education. Currently serving as Bioinformatics Engineer II at Helix since April 2022, Michelle has previously held roles as a Bioinformatics Engineer and Intern. Prior to this, significant contributions as a Bioinformatics Graduate Research Assistant II at San Diego State University involved redesigning neural networks for protein classification, developing custom NGS pipelines, and creating tools for protein dataset comparison.
