Neel Mehtani

Neel Mehtani is a Senior Bioinformatics Engineer at Personalis, Inc. since June 2022, with a strong background in computational biology and bioengineering. Neel previously served as a Graduate Student Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science from February to November 2021 and held a Machine Learning Engineer Intern position at A2A Pharmaceuticals for the summer of 2021. Earlier experience includes roles as a Product Research Intern at Ubiqare Health and a NGS Quality Analyst Intern at the Systems Biology Research Group. Neel also contributed as a BICD 100 Genetics Student Director at the University of California San Diego and worked as a Downstream Lab Associate at Zumutor Biologics. Neel holds a Master of Science in Computational Biology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UC San Diego.
