Teresa Kruisselbrink

Teresa Kruisselbrink is an accomplished professional in the field of genetic counseling, currently serving as the Director of Medical Affairs at Helix since September 2022. Prior to this role, Teresa spent nearly 17 years at Mayo Clinic, where responsibilities included managing a team of genetic counselors in the Center for Individualized Medicine and integrating genetic counseling services within cardiovascular practices. With a strong background in clinical and laboratory operations, Teresa has also supervised multiple genetic testing laboratories and partnered closely with healthcare professionals to enhance genetic counseling resources at Mayo Clinic. Teresa holds a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Cellular Developmental Biology and Genetics from the same institution.
