David Cerda

David Cerda has extensive experience in the performing arts and writing industries, serving as Artistic Director for Hell In A Handbag Productions since 2002, where responsibilities include playwrighting, scriptwriting, and production. Additionally, as Managing Director and Artistic Director for the same company, David Cerda has been involved in producing, writing, and marketing efforts. Since 2012, David Cerda has contributed as a Staff Writer for The Paper Machete, a live magazine salon in Chicago, and operates a self-employed consulting and writing business. Previous roles include freelance writing at Amazon and Pink Magazine, marketing at Hamburger Marys, and customer relationship management at CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business. David Cerda also has sales experience from positions at Interaccess and Thomson Financial Publishing, along with co-artistic director experience at Sweetback Productions.
