Iliana Márquez

Iliana Márquez has a diverse work experience in various companies. Iliana worked at Hella as the Head of Operational Excellence and Industrial Engineering since February 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Industrial Engineer at Hella from February 2021 to May 2023. Iliana also worked as an Operational Excellence and Industrial Engineer at Hella from January 2017 to February 2021, where they focused on implementing improvement projects, conducting workshops for best practices, and optimizing production lines.

Before joining Hella, Iliana Márquez served as the Quality Assurance Lead at ASVEIHI S.A. de C.V. from July 2016 to January 2017. Iliana also had a brief stint at Innovar in 2015, where they worked on the Sistema de Gestión de Calidad.

Their career started as a Trainee at Colgate-Palmolive from October 2014 to February 2015. During this time, they worked in the Stability Area within the Research and Development Center, conducting experiments and analysis for new product launches worldwide.

Iliana Márquez completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2022 to 2024. Before that, they attended Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Iliana Márquez has also acquired various certifications. Iliana completed the "Excel/VBA for Creative Problem Solving" certification from the University of Colorado Boulder in October 2020. In August 2020, they completed the "Introduction to Negotiation: A Strategic Playbook for Becoming a Principled and Persuasive Negotiator" certification from Yale University. Earlier in July 2020, they obtained the "Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt" certification from HELLA and the "Lean Six Sigma: Quantitative Tools for Quality and Productivity" certification from the Technical University of Munich in June 2020.

Furthermore, Iliana Márquez earned the "Project Management" certification from Tecnológico de Monterrey in June 2019. Iliana also completed the "Design for Manufacturing - Autkon / Ferkon Moderator" certification from HELLA in October 2018 and the "BIQ (Built in Quality) GM" certification from Arkansas State University in April 2018.

In October 2017, Iliana Márquez obtained the "Time and Movement Studies (MTM UAS)" certification from HELLA. Prior to that, in May 2016, they earned the "Finance Specialty" certification from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Lastly, in August 2014, they completed the "International Business Program" certification from Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm.
