Kenneth Eaton has over 13 years of professional experience in software engineering and data analysis. In 2019, they began working as a Principal Software Engineer for Hellebore Consulting Group, LLC. From 2014 to 2019, they worked as a Consultant for X-Ray Computations Inc. From 2006 to 2014, Eaton worked at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in three roles: Research Associate, Research Associate, and Research Fellow. As a Research Associate, Eaton developed software and acted as a data analyst, working primarily on RNA-Seq and intron-exon splice junction mapping. Kenneth also developed the statistical analysis protocol for a study assessing fetal lung maturity as a function of amniotic-fluid-derived RNA-Seq markers. As a Research Associate, Eaton was the lead developer responsible for the full software life cycle for projects spanning multiple medical image analysis applications. As a Research Fellow, Eaton developed and implemented statistical algorithms to assess measurement reliability in functional MRI studies and organized the curriculum for the NeuroImaging Software Seminar Series (NIS3).

Kenneth Eaton received their B.S in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University College of Engineering in 1999. Kenneth then went on to obtain their Ph.D in Computational Biology from Duke University in 2006.
