Kostis Maglaras graduated from the College of Athens in 1987. He completed his studies as an Electrical Engineer at Imperial College London and Stanford University in the United States. Since 1998, he has held senior positions at Columbia Business School. He is Professor in the David and Lyn Silfen Chair at Columbia Business School and since July 1, 2019 Dean of the School. His research focuses on stochastic models and data science with an emphasis on stochastic networks, engineering economics and management, quantitative pricing and revenue management.
