He was born in 1970 in California, United States of America. He studied Economics (B.Sc. with Majors in Multinational Management and Finance) at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in the USA.
He began his career in 1994 at Credit Suisse First Boston, based in New York. During his eleven years at the investment bank, he focused on fixed income structuring and trading, with products including commercial and residential real estate, asset-backed securities and structured products. From 2003 to May 2005, he was CEO and co-head of the Global CLO/CDO Group.
From June 2005 to January 2009, he was Managing Director at Barclays Capital in New York, leading the restructuring of the structuring group and expanding it to include agency and proprietary trading, capital raising and quantitative analytics.
Since June 2010, he has been with Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO): Until 2013 as Executive Vice President, Financial Institutions Advisory, based in New York, leading teams of asset specialists advising on bespoke restructuring and balance sheet valuation projects for financial institutions and regulatory agencies. Since 2014 as Executive Vice President, Portfolio Management, focusing on European investment strategies for PIMCO's alternative funds (based in London since September 2016 and New York since October 2019).
He was appointed a Member of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Bank on June 19, 2019. He is a Member of the Risk Management and Appointments / Internal Governance Committees of the Bank's Board of Directors.
