Yannis Assael

Yannis Assael is a highly accomplished researcher and leader in the field of artificial intelligence, currently serving as a Staff Research Scientist at Google DeepMind since 2017 and holding the position of Greek Delegate for the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence since September 2024. Additionally, Yannis Assael acts as a Special Advisor on Artificial Intelligence for the Hellenic Ministry of Digital Governance. Previous experience includes co-founding and serving as CEO of LipNet Artificial Intelligence Inc and working as the Lead Software Engineer at Tessera Multimedia.
