Tushar Ranka

Tushar Ranka's work experience begins in 2007 when they joined AppFolio Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer. Tushar contributed to the development of their flagship product, AppFolio Property Manager. Tushar has expertise in Ruby on Rails, jQuery, ExtJS, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and other web-based technologies.

In 2012, Tushar became the Lead Software Engineer & Architect at CHNL, Inc., where they were responsible for the overall development and architecture of their collaborative content curation and social content browser platform.

From 2013 to 2017, Tushar worked at The Honest Company, first as an Engineering Manager and later as the Director of Software Engineering. Tushar oversaw web and mobile engineering teams and was involved in strategic projects with cross-functional teams. Technologies used included Ruby on Rails, Golang, GraphQL, AngularJS, and AWS.

In 2017, Tushar joined WannaGo, LLC as the CTO, where they built a team and worked on a backend platform and frontends using Golang, PostGRE SQL, Elastic Search, ReactJS, and ReactNative. The company was acquired by Theragun in 2018.

At Theragun, Tushar worked as the CTO from 2018 to 2019. Tushar was responsible for all technology platforms, including eCommerce, ERP, IT, software development, and more. Tushar worked closely with various teams to provide technology solutions and drive initiatives. One notable achievement was the re-platforming of Theragun's eCommerce platform from Shopify Plus to SalesForce Commerce Cloud.

In 2020, Tushar held the position of Senior Vice President of Engineering at both Launched.LA and Hello Bello. In these roles, they continued to oversee engineering teams and contribute to strategic projects.

Currently, Tushar Ranka is the CEO & Founder of Refilliate / SubHub Apps Inc., where they provide scalable growth solutions for eCommerce businesses. These solutions focus on cost-effective acquisition, retention, and subscriber management through various programs.

Tushar Ranka holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Delhi College of Engineering from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering.
